Bake-sale pies

This recipe I found in What's New Cupcake, by Karen Tack & Alan Richardson. What you need is a vanilla cake mix, tin foil cupcake liners, 2 cans of vanilla frosting, yellow food colloring, 1 tsp cocoa powder, and red and blue m&m's. Bake cupcakes and cool, then set aside. Take vanilla, cocoa powder, and yellow food coloring, and mix together untill you get a pie crust color. Take your cupcakes and put a small amount of frosting on them. Take your m&m's and put them on the frosting all over the cupcake. Put the rest of your frosting in a zip lock bag and cut a hole in it, and make four straight lines on the cupcake on top of the m&m's. Turn you cupcake and make 4 more lines overlapping the other ones and make a circle around the outside of your cupcake. Hope you enjoy! leave a comment!
